R&JT’s summer wedding at Elk Point unfolded high above Lake Coeur d’Alene, surrounded by sweeping mountain views, warm sunlight, and the kind of quiet, intimate moments that define a truly unforgettable celebration. Set on a private mountain top overlooking the lake, Elk Point offers one of the most iconic ceremony backdrops in Coeur d’Alene and this wedding brought every detail to life with color, emotion, and effortless elegance.

From the beginning, their day was filled with thoughtful touches like soft blue bridal details, hand-picked floral designs in fresh summer tones, and an outdoor ceremony framed by garden inspired blooms. Guests gathered on the hillside as the bride walked toward the groom during one of the most heartfelt aisle moments, with panoramic lake views stretching behind them.

After the ceremony, we explored the natural landscape for portraits, using the mountain light, forest edge, and sweeping lake overlook to create images that feel warm, cinematic, and true to the moment. Their connection was easy, natural, and full of joy. Everything you hope for when photographing a couple in a place as beautiful as this.

The reception continued the celebration with long family style tables, planned and designed by Pearl & Tin. Minimal, modern place settings and colorful floral accents brought the entire design together, creating a relaxed and beautiful outdoor dining experience on the lawn.

Every part of the day reflected what makes Elk Point one of the most sought after wedding venues in Coeur d’Alene. Unobstructed lake views, natural beauty, private mountain scenery, and the freedom to celebrate outdoors from golden hour into the evening.
