THE EXPERIENCE

The best engagement photos come from having the freedom to simply be together. To move, explore, dress up, and create something that feels like you.

This experience was created with that in mind. A session shaped by thoughtful direction, beautiful light, and the connection between the two of you. Something personal to this moment in your lives, and photographs you’ll want to keep long after the wedding.

The Method

Intention

No two couples need the same session. Before we photograph anything, we’ll talk through location, wardrobe, light, and the overall direction you want the photographs to take. The goal isn’t to recreate someone else’s engagement photos. It’s to create something that feels considered and personal to you.

Connection

My work begins with understanding you, not staging you. I never ask couples to become something they’re not. Through shared mood boards and genuine conversation, I learn how you see your story so I can photograph it through your perspective. Whether the tone feels candid, romantic, fashion forward, or refined, my purpose is always to capture what is authentic to you.

Presence

You don’t need to show up knowing what to do in front of the camera. That’s my job. I’ll guide when something needs direction and step back when it doesn’t. As the session unfolds, the camera starts to feel less important and you have room to simply enjoy being together.

WHERE WE GO FROM HERE

01.  date and location

We’ll choose a date, location, and time that fits the two of you and the direction we want for your photos.

Whether that means somewhere familiar or somewhere completely new, we’ll consider the light, surroundings, season, and overall feel to create a session that feels like you.

02.  preparation

Before your session, we’ll build a mood board together, talking through wardrobe, and the overall direction for your photos.

I’ll learn more about the two of you and bring in details that feel personal, so the session feels less like showing up for photos and more like something created around you.

03. The engagement

On the day of your session, everything we’ve planned comes together. I’ll guide you when needed while leaving room for things to unfold naturally, so you can enjoy the experience without worrying about what to do next.

Your complete collection will be carefully edited and delivered within two weeks.
